Diksha
Commencement
On the desire and instruction of the his Guru Maharaja and GBC, His Holiness Prabodhanand Saraswati Swami Maharaja will commence initiations.
After the first Tirobhava Tithi of His Holiness Srila Gopal Krishna Goswami Maharaja, diksha will be given on 30-April-2025 (Akshay Tritya) in ISKCON mandir, Sri Vrindavan dham.
Henceforth, Diksha ceremonies at different Temples will be conducted. Details for them will be provided subsequently.
Information for Diksha eligibility and process are mentioned below.
Harinama Diksha
Eligiblity:
1. Chanting 16 rounds of Hare Krishna Mahamantra for atleast 12 months.
2. Following the 4 regulative principles (No meat eating, no gambling, no intoxication, and no illicit sex)
3. Read Srila Prabhupada Books.
Process:
1. Complete the ISKCON Disciples Course.
2. Complete GBC Harinam initiation philosophical exam.
3. Official recommendation letter from the temple president/official authority.
4. Registration for Diksha on website.

Brahmana Diksha
Eligiblity:
1. Candidate must be Harinam dikshit for at least 12 months.
2. Candidate must regularly attend temple program (including SB class).
3. Read Srila Prabhupada Books regularly. Complete these books atleast once:
Process:
1. Complete Bhakti Sastri Course.
2. Complete GBC Brahmanical initiation philosophical exam.
3. Official recommendation letter from the temple president/official authority.
4. Registration for Diksha on website.
